HOW DO I START MY LIFEGUARD OR WSI COURSE?
START YOUR COURSE
LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE
START YOUR COURSE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Student must use above Username & Password to login to www.Lifeguard-Pro.org.
- Select blue button: START >> LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE.
- Successfully complete every one of the STEPS published on that webpage.
- All course questions are answered by a careful reading of the course instructions published on the START >> LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE webpage.
- Upon successful completion of all required STEPS on the START >> LIFEGUARD INSTUCTOR COURSE webpage, the student must go to their Lifeguard-Pro.org PROFILE page and check the box “Issue My Certification”, and then click “Save”.
- New certification card(s) will be issued in 1-3 days. If you selected a digital certification card, it will be emailed to the email address you provided in your Lifeguard-Pro.org PROFILE. If you selected a plastic certification card, it will be postal mailed to the address the you provided in your Lifeguard-Pro.org PROFILE.
- PREREQUISITE LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION ISSUED BY LIFEGUARD-PRO. If Lifeguard-Pro issued the student’s current Lifeguard certification, then the student does not need to upload an image of their Lifeguard certification card to their PROFILE because Lifeguard-Pro will already have it on file.
- PREREQUISITE LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION NOT ISSUED BY LIFEGUARD-PRO. If the student is using a Lifeguard certification which was not issued by Lifeguard-Pro to satisfy the Lifeguard certification prerequisite for the Lifeguard Instructor course, then the student must login to Lifeguard-Pro.org, go to the PROFILE page, scroll down to the “Upload Certification Forms” section, upload an image of their current Lifeguard certification card, and then click “Save”. No Lifeguard Instructor certification card can be issued without the student uploading an image of their current Lifeguard certification card.

START YOUR COURSE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Student must use above Username & Password to login to www.Lifeguard-Pro.org.
- Select blue button: START >> LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE.
- Successfully complete every one of the STEPS published on that webpage.
- All course questions are answered by a careful reading of the course instructions published on the START >> LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE webpage.
- Upon successful completion of all required STEPS on the START >> LIFEGUARD INSTUCTOR COURSE webpage, the student must go to their Lifeguard-Pro.org PROFILE page and check the box “Issue My Certification”, and then click “Save”.

No Lifeguard Instructor Re-certification card can be issued without the student uploading an image of their expiring/expired Lifeguard Instructor certification card.
- PREREQUISITE LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION ISSUED BY LIFEGUARD-PRO. WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR TRAINER COURSE
START YOUR COURSE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Student must use above Username & Password to login to www.Lifeguard-Pro.org.
- Select blue button: START >> WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR COURSE.
- Successfully complete every one of the STEPS published on that webpage.
- All course questions are answered by a careful reading of the course instructions published on the START >> WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR COURSE webpage.
- If the student is renewing an expiring/expired Water Safety Instructor certification which was not issued by Lifeguard-Pro, the student must login to Lifeguard-Pro.org, go to the PROFILE page, scroll down to the “Upload Certification Forms” section, upload an image of their expiring/expired Water Safety Instructor certification card, and then click “Save”. No Water Safety Instructor Re-certification card can be issued without the student uploading an image of their expiring/expired Water Safety Instructor certification card.
- Upon successful completion of all required STEPS, the student must then go to their Lifeguard-Pro.org PROFILE page and check the box “Issue My Certification”, and then click “Save”.

- PREREQUISITE WSIT CERTIFICATION ISSUED BY LIFEGUARD-PRO. If Lifeguard-Pro issued the student’s current WSIT certification, then the student does not need to upload an image of their WSIT certification card to their PROFILE because Lifeguard-Pro will already have it on file.
- PREREQUISITE WSIT CERTIFICATION NOT ISSUED BY LIFEGUARD-PRO. If the student is using a WSIT certification which was not issued by Lifeguard-Pro to satisfy the Lifeguard certification prerequisite for the WSIT Recertification course, then the student must login to Lifeguard-Pro.org, go to the PROFILE page, scroll down to the “Upload Certification Forms” section, upload an image of their current WSIT certification card, and then click “Save”.
